Earlier this year, I decided to splurge on a massive wardrobe change. My current wardrobe had many repetitive pieces with similar designs and out of trend styles; it became predictable. My fashion taste also matured over the last couple of years, so I decided to hit the shops and find good quality pieces that would add the perfect flare to my wardrobe.
Most of my shopping is done at shops such as Zara, ASOS, Aritzia, H&M, and a few online retailers such as Pretty Little Thing, SHEIN, and Princess Polly Boutique. Here’s one of the outfits that stood out to me the most this summer because of it’s very minimalistic, yet timeless style.

This piece is a beautiful bright white, off the shoulder, cotton dress from Zara. It provides a chic silhouette that accentuates the décolletage while flowing seamlessly off the body. The ruffles of the dress provide an airy look, while giving some flare and the pleats on the fabric add just the right amount of texture without taking away from the simplicity of the design.

I paired this dress with one of my favorite designer bags, the Saint Laurent Sunset bag in Sand, which is a light beige color with silver hardware. The light color of the bag is super complimentary to the bright white of the dress and the silver hardware adds just the right amount of shine. This color of the Sunset bag is not currently sold in Saint Laurent stores, however, you may be able to get your hands on a preloved one if you search hard enough!

I decided to continue the neutral theme among the accessories by pairing the outfit with my favorite nude block heel sandals from Steve Madden. This sandal is called Irenee and is a staple in my wardrobe. I love it so much that I have it in two other colors! It has a 2-inch block heel with one strap along the toes and a very thin buckle strap at the ankles. The sandals have a suede finish and is comfortable enough to fit my wider than average feet. The sandals add a chic and feminine vibe to the outfit.
If you’re interested in recreating this outfit, I’ve included links below of where you can find these items. The original dress from Zara is currently sold out online, but you may be able to find it in store. I’ve linked a similar and equally beautiful dress below. Keep in mind that there are many brands that carry similar styles of each item, so don’t feel discouraged if you’re not able to find the exact items that I used!
